Freezing Your Eggs in NYC
New York City is known for being a city full of ambitious women. As such, it’s become an epicenter for the egg freezing “industry” - and the procedure is becoming more and more popular among young women living here. Witnessing this rapid commercialization - with sometimes questionable claims made to young women - was one impetus for CHR to restructure our own egg freezing program to focus on open communication, affordability and long-term quality assurance.
Though the idea of egg freezing is often associated with women in their twenties, many women freezing their eggs in New York are in their mid- to late-thirties. It might not be too late to freeze your eggs! Contact us online or call us at (212) 994-4400 to learn more.
Convenient Location in the Upper East Side
CHR is located in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, at 69th Street and Madison Avenue, just one block from Central Park and two blocks from Hunter College.
CHR is easily accessible via the following means of transportation:
- 6 line subway: 68 St/Hunter College station is 2 blocks away.
- Buses: MTA buses M1 through M4 run uptown along Madison Avenue, less than a block away from CHR. M5 runs downtown along 5th Avenue, one block away.
During the 10-14 days before the egg retrieval procedure, egg freezing patients will need to visit the clinic every other day for quick testing and monitoring. Early morning hours are available, so these short visits should not interfere with a patient’s work schedule. With convenient transportation nearby, patients can easily commute to and from CHR for their appointments.
